April should have been a month of bliss and happiness in Japan with the annual sakura scenery, spring festival and a season for families to be together.
A couple of our regular class children's families have planned to return Japan (would definitely miss Kisa who attended our regular programme for the past year!) in March, probably in time for the April festivities too. But the 11 March calamity might probably affected and changed the festive mood in Japan.

This year, the mall's annual Japan fair adds a charity angle so we may also do a part in contributing to The Singapore Red Cross' Japan Disaster Fund.
From 21 April to 24 April, we offer supporters a chance to create a japanese-inspired collage painting on canvas board (A4 sized) at just $15 per artwork, where $5 per artwork would be donated towards the cause. View our samples at our Facebook album and indicate your interest to do this collage during this coming Good Friday weekend!
