About Shan Zen Crafts and Art

We adopt a dedicated focus in an art programme with emphasis on principles of art, coursework & portfolio building for 6year-olds and above. For the younger children (3 to 5 yr-olds), we offer creative art on an adhoc mobile basis.

With past experience in an art franchise and working with children, our new art curriculum is planned hand-in-hand and conducted by graduates in art, design or new media with experience coaching art to children and teens.

We are also open to opportunities for external art/craft engagements across ages, incorporating various mediums, scrapbooking, being age-specific and at reasonable rates.

A former performing arts administrator and now a mother of two, Elaine manages Shan Zen Crafts And Art. Prior to this, her 6 year-old (now 9 year-old) son started on an art programme 3 years ago and currently still enjoys his art sessions in spite of short attention span and attention-seeking attributes.

It is therefore Elaine's wish to see more parents turn "art converts" and their children benefiting from an art programme, developing themselves intellectually, emotionally and constructively through having fun with various aspects of visual arts.
